My summer vacations were about to start.I had made my plans but it was my habit that I used to wait eagerly for the summer vacations every year.Every month my school closes in the middle of the month of May and reopens by the end of June.A annual exams get over and the results are declared.
This time I got promoted to class 9th from class 8th.A after the hard labour for the examinations,I wanted some rest and also some refreshment.Hence,I put aside my books for a few weeks.Next day morning,I went out to play with my friends
It was a very hot and sunny day,so we decided to play some indoor games.
My father made a programme to go to Mussorie.I requested him to spent a few days at Haridwar also.H e agreed to my request.We reached Haridwar in the morning by train.W e stayed there in a rented out
Haridwar is a beautiful town with lots of temples.I t is situated on the bank of the holy Ganges We stayed there for five days.W e had jolly good time there.The whole place summed with lifeThousands of people could be seen coming and going.
After six days,w e went upto Mussorie.I t is a beautiful hill station and has been rightly called the"Queen of Hills".We stayed there about a week.T he weather was very pleasant and the scenery simply charming.T he atmosphere enjoyed long walks in the mornings and in the evenings.We also used to go to see pictures and for strolling.W e went to see all famous places of Mussorie.
After a week,we came back to our home.We bought some gifts for our friends
