A Devastating Day Dream
Karthik was a great student. He was a one of the scholars of his college. It was Karthik's last year in his college. As he was good in studies, many companies offered him a job. But Karthik wanted to join the ‘ Symantec’. He rejected all the offers. His friends were now settled and have joined good Companies. Karthik was now crying for the choice he made. He was jealous of his friends.
Some days later, after coming home from a shopping mall, Karthik received a call. It was from the Symantec Software India Private Limited ! Karthik accepted the call, the person on the other side said, “ Congratulations Mr. Karthik Patil, you are offered a job in the Symantec Software India Private Limited, please check the mail sent by the company.”
After hearing this, Karthik exclaimed with joy ! He called his parents and informed them about the call.
Karthik was called for a meeting with the higher officials of the company. He was on the way, but Karthik's bad habbit to day dream ruined his life. As he was in his way. He started to think about his future. He said to himself, “ When I will join the company, all my friends would get jealous of me. I will get a heavy salary. Then Naira will talk to me, and accept my proposal for marriage. I will buy a big house for her. We will have lots of money, I will even hire a driver and lots of servants !”
Before he could think anymore, his bike slipped and he faced an accident. The accident made his right hand fractured. As his right hand was injured he couldn't sign the documents nor attend the meeting.
Karthik was really sad, he was angry on himself that he committed a silly mistake !
Moral :- Do not count your chickens before they are hatched.
