was the November month and my semester had commenced. And that's when I joined Quora too. You know how much Quora is addictive ;) Hence I forgot completely about exams.
My terrible situation arrived at this question. *Just a night left* and I was like *Ohhhhhh sh*t*
I had 4 full units and a night left. I started the countdown by 8pm. My plan was "12 hours (8pm-8am). 4 units. 3 hours per unit. Awesome!"
I started and tried to follow the same. Just came for dinner and went in back. I never came out after that. And once when I came out of boredom, I found everyone sleeping.
I did have that 'Cha, we should have studied before. Big mistake' feeling. But who cares? :P
I didn't touch my phone too.
The plan was going okay-okay types.
It was about 4am, when I wanted a break.
I saw everyone sleeping and instantly yawned. Body needed some rest. Else I was afraid if I would sleep in the exam hall. So I decided on a small nap.
Took my phone for keeping alarm and that's when the twist came. There were 8 missed calls. I always have the habit of putting the mobile in the silent mode so I didn't hear it. All 8 were from my friends.
I usually clear doubts to everyone thru call and hence assumed that's why they called. I didn't want to reply back since it was 4am, too early for every engineer to wake up.
Once I woke up from my nap, I started studying. Then my mother called me suddenly, I realised it was 630 am. She laughed at me but never said anything. I, on the other hand, was very tensed about exams and shouted 'What's there to laugh? I am studying day and night and you people laugh? '
She laughed even more and pointed towards the TV. There came a big line
"Exams scheduled for *university name* are postponed due to rain. Revised dates will be announced shortly"
And I was like Why God, Why??
Then I realised my friends had called me to alert about rains and not to study.
Having no contact with friends, even for sometime, is a biggest disadvantage.
*Heavy facepalm*
