It's amazing what kindness can do.

It can enrich your life, build the foundation for wonderful relationships. Even when meeting people, paying them a genuine compliment is a nice way to start a friendship.

While this proverb is probably talking about getting impossible people or situations to open up, I think the proverb also works for blogging. Those who share positive energy in their posts, kindness, and understanding also build readerships and communities of kindness.

The “iron door” being the flighty audience that is the internet. Kind words break through that “iron door” to an emotional connection, by sharing stories that provoke positive feelings, inspire and motivate

This week, when writing posts, think, “How can my blog show kindness?” Perhaps you'll unlock a few iron doors you never knew were there.

Answer:

Kind words will unlock an iron door

Once upon a time there lived a very callous man alone in a palace. Inside his palace was a beautiful park with all the toys, fun-rides, and swings. He never allowed any child to come inside the palace and play there. The park remained quiet and forlorn.

The man once had a wonderful family that had died in an unfortunate accident. After that he had confined himself inside his mansion and neither he went out nor did he allow anyone to come in.

Near that man’s house lived many families; children in these families often felt attracted towards the park but did not dare to go near it.

Among those children was Dolly who was the favorite of all. She was an angel. She spoke like a fairy. Her voice was very polite and soft.

Once, the rich man was walking in the park inside the mansion. Dolly was also playing near the park. She went up to the gate and called out to the man, “Uncle, kindly let the children come inside and play; you also play with them. You won’t feel so lonely ever.” Dolly had said these words so politely that the man could not say no to her. He opened the gate and let the children in. Soon the park began echoing with the playful laughter of children. The rich man felt so peaceful and good. He decided he would always let children play in the park in his mansion.

Moral: Kind words will unlock an iron door.
