Answer:
The day I got my first pet was one of the best days of my life. For you to understand my story, I’ll have to start at the beginning. My name is Stacey Mill, I have blonde hair and blue eyes, and I am 14 years old. I have a loving family and gorgeous friends. But it never used to be like that and this is where I start my story.
Last year it was my first year of high school. I was uber excited and a little nervous. Anyway, I didn’t know anyone, and the first person who walked up to me as I enter through the school gates was a girl named Bethany. She introduced herself and then led me to her group of friends. They told me their names, Emily, Rachel, Leah and Caitlyn. That day was a lot of fun. I liked them a lot because they reminded me of my old friends.
It was like this for four weeks, when suddenly, they started bullying me. I don’t know why, they just arked up at me. “Go away Stacey, we don’t like blondes anymore,” Leah said ominously to me one Wednesday afternoon. It was hard to take in what they were saying to me. “You don’t have any friends anymore,” said Rachel menacingly. This one stung. “But...” “GO AWAY!!” Screamed Caitlyn, pushing me to the ground and kicking me in the stomach for good measure. At that exact moment, the bell rang and I quickly ran off to my class and passed them on my way. I didn’t look at them, I just kept going.
For about two weeks they continued to approach me and hurt me, it was for their own sick pleasure I guess. I told my parents every time it happened. As it progressed my parents became more and more concerned about my wellbeing. Finally it came around to my birthday. But, unfortunately the bullying hadn’t stopped. I woke up early because I was reaaally excited! I got dressed and trudged down the steps to find mum making pancakes in the kitchen and dad holding a box with holes and a lid and a handle to carry it. A small pile of other presents were lying on the table. “Happy birthday Stacey!” Mum and dad cried in unison. Mum set a plate of pancakes on the table, I plonked down in front of it. “Thanks guys!” I said excitedly as dad handed me the box. As soon as I opened the box a small back and white Labrador puppy bounded out of the box. I had no words, I was too happy. This was the best birthday ever!
Then the strangest thing happened! Emily came up to me and went to push me into the ground like usual. This time, I retaliated and pushed her away, she walked away, whispering curses under her breath. It was like this all day and the following. On Friday some girls came up to me and introduced themselves and Rebecca, Amy and Sage and they were my defendants against the bullies.
I feel ashamed that I never dealt with the problem before. I have one thing to say; that puppy changed me and will for as long as I live.
