Helen Keller was one of the great examples to the society. She was born in 1890.
She achieved her goals and fulfilled her dreams despite being a disabled woman. She was a blind and deaf girl. This was because she was struck by a deadly disease when she was just 9 months old. Being both, it was difficult or nearly impossible for her to live life like others did. Learning for her was a difficult task.
She had never listened to nor seen anything. Still, she made her way through. All this credit could be given to the miracle worker, her teacher, Miss Anne sullivan. Miss Anne Sullivan was a great help to Helen. She was her mentor. She taught her the alphabets and words and everything later on. She was there with her on every step of her life. The first word Miss Sullivan taugh Helen was the word D-O-L-L. Soon, Helen progressed. The first complete sentence Helen said was "It is warm". Her speech was not very clear and not everyone could understand it. It was really difficult for Helen to cope up.
Many times, she became depressed but didn't give up. Helen was even of plagiarism. She was so innocent that she didn't even remember that she had read the story which she wrote. That incident had instilled a fear in Helen. Due to that, Helen used to write very less. Helen changed many schools from various cities and travlled a lot. Learning was a fun process for her. She loved Literature, history, geography, French and German. The subject which she disliked was Arithmetic. Also, she saw exams as the majot bugbears of her life. She often said that they didn't understand how difficult it was for Helen to attempt an exam. She used to patiently listen to everything Miss Sullivan told her while her lectures.

She became furious in nature as she was not able to do what other could. This worsen her physcial and mental state. Soon, after a meet with Dr. Bell, her family was directed to deaf and blind education. Perkins institute made a great path in her life which was constructed by her guide (and all) Mrs. Anne Sullivan.
She lived with her from Helen's age of 8 years. She helped Helen with her secret ability of sense. She made it her 6th sense. Anne knew her ability of thinking and worked on it everyday, every hour, every minute by giving her tasks.
