The real definition of love is difficult to find in any book. It is a desire which develops naturally and gradually. A patriotic person loves his country more than his own self. The dignity and the safety of his country are always supreme to him. He completely devotes his life for the betterment of his country. The love of a man towards his family is in fact more natural. A person who strongly loves his family members would not only look after their physical comforts, but also see to it that all their desires are fulfilled. Other than human relationships, love can be seen in the animal kingdom too - maternal instinct to protect the young is similar to that of a human being.

" Love " hearing this word the first thing which comes in our mind will be the the love bond or relation between two couples but that is not what we call Love . Love is a pure feeling , love never sees the demerits or lacks of the person or thing , but it sees all the positiveness on that person or thing.
A person transmits love not only between person to person but it can even be done by a pet or thing , things like - pet , country , parents , etc .
Thus , the above passage says that love is selfless .
