In this poem, he expressed the story of a child who want to be like those people who does hard work in earing their living.

In the first stanza, the poet describes thoughts of a little school boy who wants to become a hawker. When he goes his school in the morning, he sees a hawker selling bangles. The boy wants to become a hawler, because a hawker foes not hane to wake up early in the morning. He would go any where he wish. He does not have any rules or regulations to follow.Then, when he come back from school, he sees a gardener playing with the soil. He thinks that a gardener is free to play in mud. No one is there to scold him on his dirty cloths. And at last, he sees a watchman waking on the road alone at night. He thinks that a watchman is free to do anything he wants. He doesn't have to sleep early at night. They are free to do whatever they want.

The boy thinks so because he thinks that because he is a little mere school boy who thinks these jobs just like fun. The poem is intresting, because it is a child's view on adult world. But the adults think of being a child so that they could enjoy their carefree life.
