The Bhopal railway station is overcrowded like other railway stations. The hawkers here sell beautiful hand - made purses with pearls and stones studded on them. The artificial jewellery is also unique and impressive. It is not very costly and is affordable for the common travellers. Wooden rolling pins, rolling board, whisk and other hand - made items are also worth buying.

The modern aspect of the city can be seen as soon as one steps out of the railway station with towering buildings and modern vehicles running on the roads.
