Prithviraj Chouhan was the Rajput king, who was a ruler of the Hindu kingdoms of Ajmer and Delhi in northern India during the half of the 12th century.
He was one of the last independent Hindu kings to sit upon the throne of Delhi. He was also known as the Rai Pithora. He belonged from the Chauhan dynasty.
From the early age, he started to displaying his greatness in his life. He was a very brave and intelligent child blessed with exceptional military skills.
When he was the young boy, he was started to hit the targets on enemies with much accuracy only by sounds. It was a great talent, which he have learned from childhood. In 1179, the father of him, Someshwar Chouhan killed in the battle.
He was succeeded the throne after that he ruled over the Twins capitals Arkpal and Ajmer, which he had received from his maternal grandfather. He became renowned warrior and valiant after becoming the king by their several campaigns to expand their territories.
The battle with the Mohammad Ghori is especially well-known as is the story of his elopement with Sanyunkta, who was the daughter of Raja Jaichand Kannauj.
