Yesterday I got a chance to attend a typical Indian marriage. An Indian wedding is always a colorful, lavish and crazily extravagant affair with a huge pomp and show, the wedding I attended wasn't different.

The happiness knows no bounds when someone in your family is going to be married. The joy could be seen on everyone's face and it was showering around in the form of floral decorations, loud music and colorful outfits.

The thing I didn't like is the huge wastage of food. There were more than 30 stalls for fast food, starters, main course and deserts. Following a weird rat race, everyone was filling up their plates to their capacity. It seemed like they do not want to miss the taste of a single dish. This way, everyone was throwing leftover food in the dustbin.

Explanation:

Indian marriage is a mixture of colour, rituals, songs, and dance as per the Hindu and the Muslim religion.

The bride and the groom accept each other as their partners in front of the priest or the clergy, and many people are invited for the sumptuous lunch or dinner. The invitees bless and wish the couples for a happy married life.
