Life in 2025
Life in 2025 will be quite similar to the life in the current times. I will be predominantly putting forward my views on the basis of current prevalent situations in India. Predictions or prognosis is always made on the basis of the diagnosis or the data available in the present.
The population in India in 2025 will be 1,461,625,234 from 1,349,740,568 in 2017. There will be more pressure on the natural resources. Keeping in mind the current problems associated with growing population, will multiply. There will be requirement of more hospitals, schools, houses, colleges, universities, food, employment opportunities.
Keeping in mind the current state of pollution and the Government and people’s attitude to handling pollution the environmental degradation will deteriorate. Pollution will become a much more serious problem.
However, Indian economy will keep growing agreeably. India will impress the world with technological advancement. ISRO, DRDO, and BHEL further contribute to making India a stronger and securer nation.
In general Life in 2025 is going to be quite challenging. Indian Government and people really need to make quite futuristic and efficient policies to face the future challenges.
The type of life we will be leading in 2025 will depend on the long term goals that we set today. Given the amount of information we have available, we can aim to improve the overall standard of living by reducing pollution, improving functioning of government offices and making society safer for everyone.
To begin with, media should be used well to spread awareness about environmental problems, including deforestation and pollution. Since the destruction of nature will eventually wipe out mankind, steps have to be taken to prevent manmade disasters like floods. More activist groups can be created and connected through social media to launch nationwide awareness. If each individual is motivated to do his or her part in reducing, reusing and recycling, problems like shortage of clean drinking water will be resolved. In fact, the very air that we will breathe in 2025 can be cleaner than what we inhale today.
Additionally, if consistent effort is put into upgrading existing technology, processes will become more efficient. For instance, digitalization of government processes will help people by saving them the trouble of waiting in line for hours together. This will also make things more transparent and reduce corruption. Also, automation in hospitals can quicken the procedures, ensure timely help to patients and save lives. We can therefore look forward to technology being used to help the country progress.
Further, instead of living as individuals, if we start living as a community, life can be much safer in 2025. When everyone watches out for others, there will be fewer crimes and greater chances of criminals being caught. Being a little more morally responsible can change the face of the nation altogether.
It is for us to consider our options, decide what we want and carve out a life of our choice. The decisions we make will either make life a lot better or a lot worse.
