At Muguthang, a young Indian Army lieutenant punched a Chinese Major on the nose, causing blood to ooze from his nose.

Last week, the officer's infantry unit stopped the invading Chinese at Muguthang and were enraged at the Chinese Major for shouting, "Sikkim is not your land, this is Chinese territory...so just go back."

Growing up in a military family, young Lt Das couldn't stand it when someone called Indian land theirs, so he smacked the Chinese Major hard.

The Indian armed forces, however, did not want to escalate the situation with the Chinese, so Lieutenant was ordered to relocate. However, Lt Das's bravery in the moment is greatly appreciated and respected.
