I received a letter from my friend who invited me to attend the marriage of his brother at Ayodhya. I got the permission from my parents to attend the function. There was a great rush at the ticket window when I reached station. After waiting for ten minutes, I could get a ticket. The platform was full of passengers. Coolies were carrying the luggage. The hawkers were crying to sell their articles.

After a few minutes, the train arrived. The passengers began to get in to and come out. The guard whistled and the train started. Our compartment was over crowded. Some passengers were talking while others were sleeping. Some children were crying.

It was an express train so it was running fast. It stopped at several stations. Some passengers came in and some left the train when it stopped. On the way, we saw green fields , forests, trees, rivers, hills, grazing cattle, running deer and other animals and birds of different kinds.

The scene of the countryside was very charming.

At 9 a.m., I reached at the function. Really this journey was the happiest experience of my life .
