Cheraw dance is a cultural dance of Mizoram, India. Generally, 4 to 8 people are involved in this dance. In this dance people sit in front of each other holding bamboo stick on the ground. As the drum beats the bamboos are beaten to the ground. Dancers step in and out of the bamboo sticks and dance to the beat. Cheraw is a very old traditional dance of the Mizos.
