Akbar or Abu'l-Fath Jalal-ud-din Muhammad Akbar was the greatest ruler of his dynasty, that is the Mughal Dynasty. He was used to Maintain friendly relationship with the Rajputs and some of them even agreed his hand of friendship, for example:- Raja Todar Mal and Raja Birbal. In his years of ruling that is from 1556 to 1605, he did many things for India.
He somehow followed King Ashoka's policy of Dhamma and also banned Early Child Marriage as well as killing and sacrifices of animals. He was the Son of Humayun and Was given the crown at just the age of 13 when his father died.
He had his mother named as Hamida Banu Begum and had 5 wives. They were as follows :-
Raziya Begum
Bibi Daulat Shad
Qasima Banu Begum
Saalima Sultan Begum
and Mariam Uz Zabani.
His place of Birth is described as Umerkot in Rajputana that is now , Sindh in Pak. And his place of Death is Agra, India.
Under Akbar, Mughal Empire Reached Really high peaks of development. It developed commercially and economically as well. Trade emerged to far away places. There was a boost in culture of Islam As well as Hindu.
Akbar was himself fond of Literature, art and culture. He had nearly 24000 to 25000 volumes of books in different languages such as Persian, Latin, Arabic, Sanskrit, Urdu etc.
His Court at Delhi, Agra, India was the main HQ of arts and Learning.
He also abolished a tax known as Sectarian Tax that means, non- Muslims after the banning of the tax, were allowed to join to higher posts and doing so he became really popular and most probably the Greatest Ruler.
After his death in 1605, he was succeeded by his son Jahangir but still left a legendary impact on our people that happens to live in our minds...Forever...
