Explanation:

A magnetic field lines is an imaginary curve along which a free unit north pole tends to move. The tangent to the magnetic field lines at any point gives the direction of magnetic field at that point. Two magnetic field lines never intersect each other. It is vector quantity.

Required Answer:

Magnetic field lines possess following properties:

• Mangetic field lines can't cross each other.

• Magnetic field lines move from north to south outside the magnet.

• Magnetic field lines move from south to north inside the magnet.

• Strength magnetic field depends on degree of closeness of the field lines. That's why magnetic force is maximum at poles of a bar magnet.

• Field lines are closed and continuous curves.
