Earlier I used to take my parents for granted. Forget granted, I didn't value them so much and the difference of 30 years of experience. I used to think that whatever they say is a lie and the world is a bed of roses. I used to think that they're from the 70s so what do they know about today's generation?

Okay, I wasn't a spoilt brat. I was respectful towards everyone, kind and well mannered (still am!). But I just didn't pay heed to their advice all the time. Most of the times I used to do what I felt was right.
