Mom: “ okay then.take care ,dear. Call me when you reach home.”
Little does she know I was busy in completing assignments and did not have much time or I was broke or I just didn't feel like eating.
But the change in her voice tone after she gets to know that I had proper meal makes my day.

It was a time when I was in 5th class. I wasn't feeling well and was quite feverish. My mom asked me if I was doing well since I refused to eat lunch after coming back from school. But I didn't want to make her worry so lied that I had my lunch from canteen. I regretted to what I said, I became terrible ill. Actually I got Dengue virus and on that time it was referred as a deadly disease. Then my parents found out within that day that something was really wrong with me and so they scolded me a bit. Then we visit to a doctor who said to do blood test and in test results, we found out that I was affected from Dengue. After that I was admitted right away. Fortunately I got well within a week. Since then, I ought not to lie.
