When I was Hurt in the Playground
Injuries are a common occurrence in the playground. I also had my experience with physical injury while playing a cricket match. My friends took me to play a cricket match much against my will. I did not want to play as I had my exam a few days away; I had to prepare for it. However the friends insisted and docile as I was, I agreed to it against my wish.
I was sent to open the inning. After I had played a few balls and scored a few runs, a ball bounced unevenly and hit me on my mouth. Blood filled my mouth. A few of my front teeth became loose. My upper lip was cut. I was rushed to the doctor and given first aid.
From there I was taken home. That day I learnt a golden lesson. We should never do things half-hearted and must firmly say no to offers and proposals we are not interested in.
