Heya!!

Alluvial soil is the most widely spread and as a whole are very fertile. The entire northern plains are made of this soil and it is also found in the eastern coastal plains mainly in the deltas of Mahanadi, Godavari, Krishna and Kaveri rivers. These soils are more common in plains such as duars, chos and terai. It contains rich amount of potash, phosphoric acid and lime which are ideal for the growth of sugarcane, paddy, wheat and other cereal and pulse crops.

Hope it helps✌️✌️
