I once experienced a situation when I received unwarranted praise. I initially felt honoured and ecstatic to get such kind remarks. But as time went on, I started to see that the praise wasn't sincere and that the individual was just using me as a pawn. I felt abused and disrespected by it. I learned from that experience to be weary of folks who lavish others with praise. I also discovered how crucial it is to provide others my feedback in an open and sincere manner. False praise may seem wonderful at the time, but over time, it can destroy trust and harm relationships. Even though our feedback isn't always what the other person wants, it's preferable to be sincere and constructive.
