Recently I was in a thick soup on account of my forgetfulness. I usually keep the legal documents of my car such as registration certificate, insurance papers, etc. in my bag, which I usually carry with me most of the time. However, one day I forgot to carry it along.
On the way, a traffic constable stopped me to see my papers. When I looked for my bag, it was not there. I had to cut a very sorry figure in front of the cop. He was about to penalize me, when it suddenly struck me that I could have the pictures of the documents sent to me. I immediately called my wife and asked her to send me the pictures of the registration and insurance certificate.
My wife did it promptly. The cop saw it and was satisfied. He let me go. This is how I handled one tought situation using my intelligence and wit.
