Answer:
People go to Haridwar which is a pilgrimage center. Haridwar literally means 'The Abode of Lord Vishnu'. People visit this place to take bath, worship the holy Ganga, and also perform ritualistic bathing on the banks of the Ganges to wash away their sins to attain moksha. There are several shops. Offerings are sold at these shops. Prasad is the main article that people buy there. Also, people buy the things that are needed for worship to the Ganga. There are many items for the food which is vegetarian. Haridwar is a meat-free city because of its holy nature. It is present in the state of Uttarakhand.
