Arbari Model is famous for rejanuvating and maintaining forests.

$\implies$ Arbari is a forest range in West Midnapore District of West Bengal this forest was saved from destruction by Indian forest service officer Mr. A.K Banarjee in 1972.

$\implies$ He involved the local people living around the periphery of the forest in greening the forest by planting saplings and taking care of trees. A Joint Forest Committee which mainly included the local people was started, to conserve the forest and set up silviculture projects (Controlling, Composition, Health and Quality of trees). the local people benefitted by getting 25% of the profit delivered form the forest. This model come to called the Arabari Model.
