The central character of this story is Armando Gonzalez and this story shows how a man behaves in the state of panic and nervousness taking Armando's example. The story also examines how the baseless fear results in nervousness and how things get worse when people become unnecessarily nervous.
Armando Gonzalez was a man who had to look after a big family of nine members. He and his wife worked hard for twenty years and collected 50,000 thousand pesos little by little even though there were nine members who had to survive in his and his wife's earning.
