Arunima Sinha (was born in 1988) is the first Indian amputee to climb Mount Everest.She is also the first female amputee to climb Mount Everest.
She was a national level volleyball player who was pushed from a running train by some robbers in 2011 while she was resisting them. As a result, one of her legs had to be amputated below the knee.
Her aim was to climb all the continent's highest peaks and hoist the national flag of India. She has already done six peaks: Everest in Asia, Kilimanjaro in Africa, Elbrus in Europe, Kosciuszko in Australia, Aconcagua in Argentina and Carstensz Pyramid (Puncak Jaya) in Indonesia.

Arunima Sinha is India's and also World's first female amputee to climb the Mount Everest.
She was once a volleyball and football player also.
In April, 2011, she was attacked by some thieves while going to Padmavati Express for CISF exam and she fell on the railway line and another train came and cut his two legs.
She was brought to AIIMS Institute in Delhi and she was treated there.
Yet, the way she has made herself so successful has inspired Mr Yuvraj Singh.
