Pakistan and India along with the reinforcement of Bangladesh fought this war for the liberation of Bangladesh.Pakistan was defeated in this war by combined forces of India and Bangladesh.It occured in 1971.and after that Bangladesh which was known as East Pakistan gained the status of an independent state.
