• A material which gets decomposed through natural process(such as , action of bacteria) is called biodegradable material

Examples are paper , wood , cotton clothes etc .

Biodegradable materials are environmental friendly

• A material which is not easily decomposed by natural process is called non biodegradable material

Examples are plastics , glass , tin etc.

These aren't environmental friendly.
