A planet is an astronomical body or celestial body orbiting a star or stellar remnant that is massive ..

as we all know that there are eight planets in the solar system,,

that is :-

MERCURY

VENUS

EARTH

MARS

JUPITER

SATURN

URANUS

AND

NEPTUNE....


In general, the eight planets can be classified into two categories based on their composition:


THE FIRST ONE IS:


Terrestrial planet: The four planets closer to the Sun are Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars. ...



THE SECOND ONE IS :


Jovian planet: These are the four planets including Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune.

⚡The eight planets have been divided into two groups . All the planets of particular group have some common features . Terrestrial planets and jovian planet are two groups of planet.

⚡The four planet nearest to the sun -mercury ,Venus , earth and mars are called Terrestrial planet.

⚡Other four planets — Jupiter ,Saturn ,urunus , and Neptune are called Jovian planets
