Answer:

Cold deserts have hot summers but extremely cold winters. These deserts are found in high, flat areas, called plateaus, or mountainous areas in temperate regions of the world. Temperate regions lie between the polar regions and the tropics. Like other types of desert, cold deserts get very little rain or snow.

Cold deserts are the desert areas with low temperature than hot deserts.

Eg:- Gobi,Colorado,

Great Basin,Patagonia

But low temperature deserts are two types.

1) Cold deserts

2) Polar deserts

Polar deserts are Antarctica, Arctic & Greenland. These are deserts that experience low temperatures & long winters (more winter period than cold deserts). But many say both are same. It's ok cuz both have same features. And cold deserts tend to have higher preparation levels than hot deserts.
