  • Resulted in global warming

\longmapsto As the trees are being cut , because or this oxygen is reducing and there is increase in carbon dioxide, temperature and pollution levels on the earth ,which is resulted in global warming.

  • Causing droughts

\longmapsto As the trees are being cut on large scale, this has resulted in the depletion of water vapour in our atmosphere ,which in turn has affected the cloud formation. Thus, resulting less rainfall and because of this droughts can be caused.

  • Desertification

\longmapsto Less rainfall is leading to desertification as trees and plants die because of not getting sufficient water in the forests.

  • Causing floods

\longmapsto Ground water gets lowered due to deforestation, that leads to floods as a lot of rain water from the deforestated soil rushes into the river.

The loss of trees and other vegetation can cause climate change, desertification, soil erosion, fewer crops, flooding, increased greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, and a host of problems for indigenous people.
