Father: listening to cricket commentary is waste of time . Son: Dad! cool! commentary is also one of the listening skills. father: Then what knowledge does that give you ? Son : listening to commentary increase our listening skills so that we concentrate while the teacher explains . father: For that purpose you have to listen news and lectures not cricket commentary. son: cricket is a game , through commentary we acquire knowledge about cricket . father: But that knowledge is waste and these won't come in exam.
