The culture of India is varied. The variation may be between a few kilometers to a few 100. I am from Kerala, a tiny portion of India. Here in olden times, we welcomed and helped the needy and embraced all religions. In fact, Christianity, more so the teaching of Christ is supposedly earlier than Hinduism.
