It is the need of the hour to manage the waste that is solid or dry waste. There are two types of wastes bio- degradable and non-biodegradable. There are some scientific and eco-friendly ways of waste management that are incineration, composting , vermicomposting, landfill method, pyrolysis.
Necessity of solid waste management :
1.for preventing environmental pollution and to keep the surroundings clean.
2. to reduce the strain on natural resources through treatment of solid waste.
3. to improve the health and quality of life and to maintain environmental balance.
