The most eminent personality of India is Mahatma Gandhi ( 1869-1948 ) . Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi was born on 2nd October 1869 in Porbandar, Gujarat. He struggled in his childhood. Later, he participated in many social activities and became a politician in the period. He started The Non-Cooperation Movement , Civil Disobedience Movement and many more. His participation in many movements were remarkable and is still a great personality around the globe. He also became a great role model for a huge amount of people such as Martin Luther King Jr. He had three children while he was fighting against the British. He was assassinated on 30th January 1948 while walking on the road.


His story is very impressive and inspirational. He is known as ‘The Father of the Nation’ in India
