Mostly sheep eat grass, legumes, forbs, and other pasture plants. They especially love forbs. In fact, it is usually their first choice of food in a pasture.

• An average ewe's daily pasture requirements can be replaced by 50 per cent by 450 g of good hay, 1.4 kg silage or 250 g of grain.

• For about 8 hours we need to pasture in the grazing.

• We should feed a Sheep with 100 – 200 g of supplementation of concentrate mixture which contains 16 – 18 % of protein in it.
