Range:
A range is basically a collection of two or more cells which is again the intersection of rows and columns in MS Excel. There are two methods through which we can fill a range of cells:
Autofill:
- Autofill is the most important feature of MS Excel. When you insert any two values in the Excel, it automatically fills the rest of the cells in a similar manner upon dragging it. We can see the + symbol showing at the right side of the cell. When we drag it to the bottom, we can see Excel automatically fills the values.
By pressing Ctrl+D:
- We have to enter one data and will drag to the bottom with the help of the mouse and will release the mouse button. Then press Ctrl+D button and then we can see cells are automatically filled.
