Write about Forest and Grasslands...

 \huge\underline \mathfrak \red{Answer:--}

. Forests and grasslands help us in many ways.They give us wood and grasses to make paper.They give us timber,firewood and medicines people graze farm animals on grasslands and in forest.They also collect fruit,roots,honey,bamboo and other things from them.

Forests and grasslands are the natural home of wild animals. They maintain the balance of gases in the air.They also protect the soil from erosion (being carried away).The roots of plants hold the soil firmly and stop it from being washed away or blown away.

Forest :-

The forest is a complex ecosystem consisting mainly of trees that buffer the earth and support a myriad of life forms. The layer of leaves that fall around the tree prevents runoff and allows the water to percolate into the soil.Even today people depend on the forest for paper, timber, fuelwood, medicine, and fodder. For the rural population, wood is an important source of energy for cooking and heating.

Grasslands :-

A grassland is an area of land that mostly contains grasses. There are wild grasses, and there may be some treesSavanna, steppe, prairie, or pampas: They're all grasslands, the globe's most agriculturally useful habitats. Grasslands go by many names. In the U.S. Midwest, they're often called prairies. In South America, they're known as pampas.

Grasslands clearly provide the feed base for grazing livestock and thus numerous high-quality foods, but such livestock also provide products such as fertilizer, transport, traction, fibre and leather.
