He was from "Indian National Congress".He had you children - Harilal , manilal , Ramdas and devdas. His wife's name was Kasturba Gandhi. His fathers name was Karamchand Gandhi and mother's name was pultlibai gandhi. He was also known by his other names - Gandhiji , Bapuji.His resting place was Rajghat,Delhi.
He died on 30th January ,1948 in new Delhi.
He is known as the father of nation.
