Gaseous state

This state is characterized by sensitivity of volume change with change of pressure and temperature it is due to large distance between molecules as compared to their on dimensions there exist weak vander waal's forces.

Ideal Gas

A gas with no intermolecular attractions and having very negligible volume occupied by molecules when compared with volume of gas is termed as ideal gas. An ideal gas is a hypothetical gas and none of the gases known as is ideal. This gases are called real gases and they maybbehave like ideal gas under specific conditions.

Parameter associated with the ideal gas P,V,T,n

where,

P represents pressure exerted by the gas molecule on the walls of container assuming negligible intermolecular attractions.

V represents free volume applicable for motion.

T represents absolute temperature.

n represents number of moles.
