Hey friend!
____________

Here is your answer

Meandering rivers:

# Meandering rivers are the rivers which follow a back and fro movement, and occur mainly in the middle course. Near the outer bank, there's high erosion and in the inner bank there is high amount of depositions. Thus, the river looks like it's bent and is meandering in a zigzag manner.

Ox - bow lakes:

# When the meandering of river increases to a great extent, the outer bank is cut - off from the main stream. The main stream now takes a different course and the lake that is cutoff looks like an ox - bow and thus is named as ox - bow lakes.
