Group discussion and debate will help the

children in writing well. In GD, teacher’s input is less.  She only gives the topic and divides the

class into groups.  In GD, Children will

get various points to write; their listening skill is at the best because they

are discussing with their friends.  They

question their friends with regard to the topic without any inhibition.

Apart from this, teacher can give word blanks

to complete a story.  Students have to

fill up the blanks to complete the story. 

Later, a topic can be given to kindle the creativeness in the children

to write a story.
