Answer:

Human evolution is the lengthy process of change by which people originated from apelike ancestors starting nearly five million years ago. The modern scientific study of human evolution is called paleoanthropology. A subfield of anthropology, this discipline searches for the roots of human physical traits, culture, and behavior. It attempts to answer questions: What makes us human? When and why did we begin to walk upright? How did our brains, language, art, music, and religion develop? By approaching these questions from a variety of directions, using information learned from other disciplines such as molecular biology, paleontology, archaeology, sociology, and biology, we continue to increase knowledge of our evolutionary origins.

Question

Write about human evolution

Answer

The evolution of man is something which has been debated for years and will be for many years to come. Modern man scientifically called Homo sapiens has evolved as years passed down the line. It all began from Ramapithecus which were existing 15 millions years ago(Mya) . They were probably not taller than 4 feet but walked upright . Then 2 Mya there came Australopithecus who lived in East African Grasslands. They hunted for food with stone weapons but mainly ate fruits.

The first Human like being was Homo habilis . Their brain capacities were 650–800cc. They didn't eat meat. Next came the Homo erectus who had a large brain if around 900cc. They ate meat. The Neanderthal man with brain size of 1400cc lived 1 lakh to 40 thousand years ago. They used hides to cover their body and buried their dead. Homo sapiens arose in Africa and got distributed throughout the globe. Agriculture came around 10 thousand years ago. The rest what happened is history.
