Answer:

"Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar" was the person who changed the perception of a human being. He was a writer and a social reformer who worked to change the society. He challenged and removed the child-marriage, polygamy, and favored the remarriage of widow as legal in India. In light of his commitment towards such issues, the "Widow Remarriage Act" was passed in "1856" making the marriage of widows legitimate. Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar moved in the direction of providing education to ladies. He opened and ran numerous schools for young ladies at his "own expense".
