jammu and k Kashmir are the new form union territories before form union territories Deva a state and Kashmir divided into two parts Jammu Kashmir and Leh and Ladakh and these two are new union territory in India we have 28 states now and nine union territories

The newly formed territories are come into counting by 31 October. Now there are 7 union territories but by 31 October there are 9 union territories which include ladakh and Kashmir and there become 28 states of 29 states but now there is 29 states and 7 union territories.
