There are many people behind the success of the making of the Indian Space program. However, the prominent ones are the first prime minister of India, Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru and prominent scientist Vikram Sarabhai with a team of learned people were behind setting up and formation of the ISRO which was earlier established as INCOSPAR (Indian National Committee for Space Research).
