Write about POCSO and juvenile justice act and write if you be the Chief Minister what action will you take towards this laws
Answers
POCSO stands for Protection of Children Against Sexual Offences. The POCSO Act, passed by the Indian government in 2012, to protect children from sexual abuse, is part of the government’s policies for child protection.
The Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act of 2015, consolidated and amended laws relating to children, who needed care and protection.
As Chief Minister, I would ensure that the slightest breach of these laws, is dealt with promptly and severely and those responsible for the crime or negligence against children, are accorded punishment, following the strict terms of these Acts.
Explanation:
POSCO Act or Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act of 2012 is an Act for protecting children from any kind of sexual harassment or assaults or pornography and offers for launching special courts to hold a trial for such cases. If I become Chief Minister I will make special provisions to address complains made by children or women as a top priority.
