Anonymous: In mathematics, the Pythagorean theorem, also known as Pythagoras' theorem, is a fundamental relation in Euclidean geometry among the three sides of a right triangle. It states that the square of the hypotenuse is equal to the sum of the squares of the other two sides. FORMULA=(SIDE1 ×SIDE1)+(SIDE2×SIDE2)

according to Pythagoras theorem ..
the side present in front of angle 90 degree is called hypotenuse .
and the two adjacent sides are called perpendicular and base .
in Pythagoras theorem
 {h}^{2} = {p}^{2} + {b}^{2} \\ where \: h \: = hypotenuse \: \\ p = perpendicular \\ b = base of the triangle
