SALAVARY GLANDS.
Salavary gland is situated in our mouth..at the starting of oesophagus it's function is to secrete an enzyme named as "saliva" in our mouth.
Saliva mixed in our chewing food and helps in breaking down the. carbohydrates of the food. Saliva also gives a little sweet taste in our food this is because of breakdown of carbohydrates.
TEETH.
Teeth are present in our mouth .These are of 4 types..
1. INCISORS at the front used in cutting and shering of food.
2. CANINES are used to tear the food.
3. PREMOLARS (BICUSPIDS) used to crush the food.
4. MOLAR are most important which are used to grin the food.
OESOPHAGUS.
It is finnaly that tube like structure(canal) which transfers the food from mouth to the stomach.
The CILLIARY MUSCLES presents in it are mainly responsible for the transfer of food.
Because they continuously contracts and relax.. that's why the push the food inwards.
